I have recently bought an asuro robot kit wth the pre-made IR USB.

When it comes to flashing a file i get about halfway before the Flash program recieves c.c.c.c.t.etc. and i get a message in red that says...

TIMEOUT !
ASURO dead --> FLASH damaged !!

what does this mean and how do i fix the problem? :?

Note: i have tried the flash versions: v1.1, v1.2, v1.51 and i get the same results as seen above and when i use the v1.4, v1.55 I get a message saying..
failed to open!?!?
already in use?

Any help with these problems would be much appreciated.

I've just built one recently and had similar problems. I found that having the USB IR about 100mm away in a shaded / dark area helped. I still get the occasional c error but as long as there is less than 10 per block then the error correction has worked correctly.

Thanks for the help, it works much better. :D

However does anyone know what the flash program means by

'Asuro dead.....'

(see first post)

Does it mean my asuro is damaged in some way?
