Hello,

I've seen that you're selling 5 or 10m long external temperature sensor for TSN or PRO sensors.

I would like to know if it's possible to connect multiple 5 or 10m long external temperature sensors together? What would be the maximum length without attenuating the signal?

I need to measure temperatures of apparatus (confined with thick concrete walls) far from my BS-1000 LAN receiver. Is it the good solution or would you recommand me to buy a repeater?
Thus how far can the repeater amplify the signal?

Regards

Thomas

Hello,

You can not put more sensors paralell.
It is a digital sensor with DATA, PLUS and MINUS so making the wire longer will be possible as long as the DATA and Plus are above the acceptable level also depending on the wire thickness!

A repeater ALWAYS help to cover bigger distances you can cascade more repeaters to cover bigger distances!.
